Whew. With February’s challenge over, it’s time to embark on my adventures for March. January was about cleansing my body. February was about cleansing my closet. And March is going to be about cleansing my spirit. For the next 30 days I will be practicing meditation and yoga as a way to slow down and listen to my inner self.
After a really hands-on challenge last month, I want to scale back the posting commitment a little bit. Everyday will consist of at least 5 minutes of meditation and I’ll participate in a yoga class 4 – 5 times a week. I am hoping to check out several locations around Boulder and will enjoy reviewing different types of yoga, although I’m sure half of my classes will be at home with a DVD. I’ll do a weekly recap and will tie my regularly scheduled posts back to meditative practices when I can.
I’m seriously looking forward to this one. I have been so antsy lately and have noticed my attention span actually shrinking. I can barely make it through a 25 minute TV show without reaching for my phone or computer. Not sure what that says about me or if it’s more the state of television. (probably the latter, eh?)
