pinterest finds: outdoor living spaces

With summer upon us I am anxious to spend as much time outside as possible. Bike riding, strolling after dinner, camping, the farmer’s market, and my favorite – dining alfresco! It’s a good thing for us our current apartment has a nice large balcony. The bummer part is that it is pretty unfurnished. Something I desperately need to rectify, which brings me to this week’s Pinterest finds.

It seemed fitting to look for beautiful patio and balcony inspiration. We are on the second floor, but our balcony footprint is about 12′ x 9′, I know, right! We’d love to have a table we can dine and work at, good chairs, and lighting. And I’d love to have edible plants (herbs and tomatoes) and curtains. What do you think of the 5 I’ve included below?

Love this beautiful mountain inspired outdoor living space. It just feels so relaxing.

Aren’t these Moroccan inspired candle holders divine?!?

Ahhh, curtains flowing in the wind. It just oozes peace and tranquility to me.

I still love the British Colonial look, although none of my interior decor ended up going this direction.

How cool is this tent? What an awesome place for a dinner party!

I can hardly wait to have some extra time to work on our patio because we have such a great space. It will be so nice to sit outside and enjoying the lovely Boulder weather with a cool beverage and a good book.
